Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing of web and mobile applications.
- Understand business and functional requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute test cases and document test results accurately.
- Identify, report, track, and verify defects using JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Support automation testing activities and maintain existing automation scripts.
- Perform API testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve quality-related issues.
- Participate in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and release validation.
- Prepare and maintain QA documentation, test reports, and relevant testing records.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Explore and use AI-powered tools for test case generation, test analysis, documentation, and other QA activities.
- Proactively identify potential issues, risks, and opportunities to improve the overall testing process.
- Ensure adherence to defined QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing and testing methodologies.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in test case creation, execution, defect reporting, and regression testing.
- Working knowledge of Automation Testing and familiarity with Playwright or similar frameworks.
- Experience with API testing.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Basic to good understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify potential quality issues.
- Exposure to AI tools or AI-assisted testing practices is an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and work with new tools and technologies.
